how can jobs tell if you graduated or not
i was just wondering
If you sign a release then the hiring company can run a background check on you. Checking your educational credentials might be part of the background check. The company doing the actual background check would ask for verification of your degrees etc. from whatever schools you listed. In the old days all this would have been too cumbersome so most employers didn't bother with it. Now, with computers it's much easier so more places elect to verify your background - especially if the job requires a specific degree.
Some will ask for official transcripts from the school to verify that you have passed your classes and graduated. They can also contact the school to verify the information you provide.
Jobs can and will call your school whether or not we are talking about high school or even college. When I started my job that was dependent on my degree. They needed proof that I graduated. I had to give them a transcript until I could get my degree in the mail.

Is it pointless to go back to college for 10 years at 30 yrs old? It's been a crazy year for me with a lot of really weird events. Plus with me turning 30 this year I started looking at my life. I always wanted a degree in Archaeology or Anthropology but never got it. I am now seriously considering...

According to a Mic analysis of political spending data collected by the Center for Responsive Politics, the NRA, —often cited as the most influential lobbying organization in the country — has spent a total of $27,205,245 in support of the 50 senators who voted against background check expansion on...
