Why do you think most young adults drop out of college?
This particular question had been summoned to my attention for a while. When I think about college and the reason I couldn't finish is had to do with personal experiences. Some were extremely personal like money, but it purpose for attending school. First of all my tuition was 20,000 a year, which mean it was 10,000 a semester, also saying Professors are paid well. In this case I was baffled at the idea that my English professors would tell me how much I couldn't write. "That's fine," I said, but what about you TEACHING me the things I don't know, right? Right! For 20,000 a year I believe instead of instructors criticizing a person for what they don't know, instead they should be teaching what we should know. Their actions towards me as a respectable prospect in the career-minded world did not exceed to a level of appreciated expectation. Oh well, I am a Contemporary Novelist and insightful Author and I would like to Thank Dillard University for leaving me in debt and creating a imaginative place for my mind to use as a Wonderland! ...NO, I did not graduate to say the least.
In my experience, the people I have met who have dropped out of college/university, did so because they weren't enjoying the course. There are so many courses and opportunities available to students undertaking tertiary studies, that sometimes it can be hard to choose just one! After the person has started the course, they may realise they don't enjoy it, or that it's not what they wanted to do.
Also, if a person is studying a long way from home, they may miss their family and friends, and feel unable to function without their support.

Why do students drop out?Do you know any kids that have dropped out of college or university? Maybe you did yourself? I'd really like to know what are the main factors that lead to students dropping out.

People within and outside of the US government have debated on the issue of whether young adults of the ages of about 18-22 should be have a mandatory one year period of community service that they must complete. Do you think this should be required of young adults or not? Why?jacob

Jews were delivered from Egypt by God in the Old Testament but weren't delivered from Hitler. Why? Why did God suddenly go silent after Jesus?
