    What's the most well-known constellation?

    The Big Dipper, Orion, the Southern Cross, or something else??

    I think so that the pegasis constallation and the half man and half horse holdind a bow in its hand (i dont know the name sorry!) These are 2 famous conestellation.

    The most well known is probably The Plough, aka The Great Bear (Ursa Major), aka The Big Dipper. This constellation is often pointed out to children as the two rightmost of its stars align with Polaris (The North Star). Many a navigator: down the centuries, has plotted a course home using this constellation.

    Next up has to be Orion (The Hunter) because the three stars (also known - in their own right - as The Three Kings) that make up Orion's Belt are so easy to spot.
