How to gain knowledge about a topic in which you are not interested?
Why would you want to?
The same way you gain knowledge about a topic you are interested in... research, search the internet about the topic, read books on it, etc... You'll likely not want to spend much money if you're not interested in it, though if it's a topic you need to learn something about, whether for a job or assignment then you may just have to. Though the internet of course can be a good resource, and is 'free.' I can't provide you a way to get motivated to this, except to say that if you at least start looking into it you may be surprised to find that it might interest you after all!
