Sleeping sickness, a parasitic disease, transmitted by the tsetse fly. There are two stages of the disease as first, it enters and produces symtoms within the lymph nodes and then in the secoind stage it crosses the blood-brain barrier and enters the nervous system. Left untreated, the disease is fatal.
