What do you do with signs and wonders not being a part of our christian life?
I am not well versed (as far as pulling verses out of my head)
But acts in the first part tells of the works of the prophets. Then it turns to after we have heard and except Christ as savior we are to live off faith alone
If Your "vision" or mircial doesn't happen what happens to your faith?
Once saved always saved is true but for though that were save in an emotional alter call you may not have truely excepted Christ as savior.
The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness. It is GOD that gives a person faith to except Christ and then live by faith moment by moment in their life on the earth. Jesus Christ said: He that endures to the end shall be saved. So there is always a possibility for a person to turn their back against Christ and walk away and not follow Christ anymore like Jesus gave an example to his disciples asking will they leave also and Peter answered saying, where shall we go to for you have the words of eternal life. Some of Christ followers in the New testament while Jesus lived on the earth walked away from Christ because of some of his hard sayings that he taught them as his disciples. As for my vision GOD given me on August 1, 1982 A.D. a Sunday morning GOD shown me the other side of death because I will fulfill GOD,S perfect will and ultimate purpose for my life on the earth of which I am doing by answering your question on hubpages and the 2 hubs that I have written and is seen around the world through 100 percent referring sites. GOD does not throw out visions to everyone but to those who have sold out their life to do GOD,S perfect will for their life on the earth and it will cost you literally everything to do GOD,S perfect will for your life on the earth and I have done this and paid the price to have this vision and be faithful moment by moment to do it to the glory of GOD. Thank you vinnielee2010 for asking me this question. GOD bless you and go in peace and love in your daily life and faith in Christ our savior.
God is beyond Christianity. Christianity and its beliefs are set by Church elders and not by God. Some beliefs do correlate with the truth while others are affected by their, politics, human imperfection and survival of their institution
To experience God to fullest, you have to go beyond your religion and what others have told you. God prefers that you get closer to him and possibly with a one to one relationship. But organized religions discourages these actions because they want to survive as the only authority..
Now for those who dared to seek God, they found God. Miracles and other wonders became apparent around them even though miracles and wonders were not their goal.
Spiritual masters such as Buddha, Jesus, John the Baptist, Moses and many others went into the wilderness, some were naked and fasting, without scriptures, and they found God. They were not following Christian guidelines from Christian religious institutions or those Gospels.
God is too big to be confined within your religious beliefs, your scriptures, and your "authoritative" institutions.
Open wide, you mind and soul and set yourself free form what others have told you, so that God can reveal Himself to you in person and experience directly the Grandest Truth, Love and Joy.
