    We can! Have you tried tickling the sole of your feet with a feather? Boy that tickles!

    But if you're talking about using your hands to, say, tickle your own sides, that would be pretty sad. Also, you would just look like you're scratching an itch!

    In short, there's just no fun to be had in tickling yourself.

    What a funny and delightful question. I used to try hard to tickle myself when I was a kid and it frustrated me that I could not do it.

    I think part of our reaction to being tickled is in the timing, and the element of surprise
