What impacts do cultural concepts and socialization have on the gender relations in your country?
That question would require a HUGE answer and a ton of thought. Literally, the answer would make for an outstanding article if done well enough.
Another question that is hard to answer! Some smart people on here asking tough questions. No way I could do this justice in a short answer, but basically whatever your socialization process says is the way genders ought to relate (family, friends, church, media, peers) then I think it does have a major impact on what the majority of the population would call "normal." And if those socialization processes are negative, then that could be harmful to society overall.
That's really a tough question, as said by Sooner28. I believe socialization and cultural concepts have a high impact in gender relations no matter what country we're focusing on. That's why gender relations are so much different when you compare, let's say, Japan to Spain. Nevertheless, I think it's a cultural question, not geographic - as any other domain on socialization, it has to do as well with religious beliefs, personal history and social norms.
