   What do you think of the behaviours new technologies allow?
   
   For instance at midnight on New Year's Eve being with a group of friends and picking up a mobile to call other people, instead of actually enjoying the company one is with. Can you give other examples of such behaviours?

   This is a double edged sword. There are many things that technology enables that are wonderful. I have connected with so many people that I have had great exchanges with due to the Internet. I believe I have helped many people and I have been helped due to the information or communication on the Web. However, yes, the Internet has opened the door for some negative behaviors as well. My feelings though are that if someone is the type of individual who wants to make good choices they will, if they want to find trouble, the Internet is only one way that it can be found. In other words, they would have found trouble another way if they did not find it on the Internet.

   Social-media has created easier ways to converse with other humans, thus children seem to not be going out with their friends as often. Although, to a degree, I guess the social-website could be used as a way of arranging meets. Like trimar7 stated "double edged sword".
   
   Advancement in cleaner industry means that we're more hesitant to purchase large, gas-pumped cars. We also frown more at polluting then we ever have done.
   
   The internet has created a means for some socially-awkward kids and bullied children to make friends. I know quite a few people that're good friends with many 'interneters'.
   
   A lot more people listen to music in public places, via headphones. This appears to be every-age range, although people within the age of 16-24 enjoy showing off a big disposable income by purchasing big, expensive headphones. They normally project the music so loud everyone can hear it on public-transport, so everyone notices.
   
   There's a lot of ups and downs of technology, like anything in the world. I believe the goods beat the bad's, which is more than I can say for some branches.
