Do I need permission to use the title Morning Song in my book?
I am writting a novel, love story. The woman falls in love with a Cherokee Indian. When they get married the song Moring Song is sung by the Cherokee. My question is, do I need legal permission to use the title in the story?
Not to mention the title, no. That would easily fall under fair use. But if you want to excerpt any of the lyrics, you should get permission from the owner.
