How Intelligent Were The Mayans?
Did Mayans possess higher IQ's?
Given that evolution of our species basically stopped when civilization began and agriculture replaced hunting and gathering as a way of life, I expect they were as intelligent as we are but no more-intelligent. They had the same brain capacity, so I suppose I never thought of them or any other ancient civilizations as being more or less intelligent than we are today.
