What Is The Best Kind Of Telescope You Can Buy For The Least Amount Of Money?
Can you buy a good telescope, inexpensively?
Why not build your own? This is by far the least expensive, though you will need to know something about optics if is an optical telescope you are seeking. Lenses for DIY people are readily available and the casings and mounts can be made from cardboard tubing and existing inexpensive mounts upon which to suspend the works. You can thus make the best kind of telescope that matches your needs for the money you have to put out. Otherwise, you should get a good star atlas so you know where to look and a program that locates the planets.
