When is the last day of school for your area?
My children's last day of school is May 31st. The other state we had lived has May 18th as the last day of school. When is the last day of school for your school system?
It depends what term you're asing about, the summer/autumn term is usually the Friday before Christmas, the winter/spring term is usually the Friday a week before Easter, the spring/summer term is usually the last Friday in July.
It was last Friday for college students in Texas.... I just want summer classes to start soon. The high schoolers and younger end this week or so.
In Thailand the last day of school is usually around March 1 of each year. That is because Thailand's hottest months of the year are in March, April, and the first part of May. The first day of the school year is usually around May 21.

Should the school year be reorganised?The current system of a looooooong summer holiday is a throwback from when farmers needed their children to help them with harvesting their crop. Now Parents are stuck with (at least) six weeks with their kids out of school, leaving issues with childcare etc....
