What company did you teach for in Japan?
After reading your hub about the Top 10 Places in Japan, and then your "About Me", I see that you have a background in teaching abroad. Was this the case in Japan? I am a college graduate with some teaching experience looking to teach abroad in Japan. At the moment I am getting in contact with recruiters and researching different options; is there a school that you would recommend, or a recruiting company, or program?
I was an ALT in the public schools in Japan which was run through a sister-city program, so I really did go through a company. Also, many people used just go to Japan, find work at an English school and then, once employed, have the school help them with the work visa. I'm not sure how it is now.
