Why do we go to the university? Is it to acquire knowledge- or to obtain a degree?
What is the primary reason for attending the university- which of the two reasons do you think is more important.
Simple. To acquire a degree. Only point in higher education. Employers often required a college degree, therefore the purpose of attending college is to obtain a degree in hopes that future employers will find you "qualified" for a particular job. If it is knowledge you seek, try a public library, or even the internet if you can filter out the crap!
Yeah, a university is just a way of proving you actually know something. Or at least fake it well enough to get the job done.
Both the reasons – degree and knowledge. Both are important if you want to land a good job. And it has other benefits too – you grow as an individual and get to expand your horizons. A college degree and education has become socially relevant these days. You can form a social network, while in college which can be an invaluable resource in your professional life. The benefits of going to university are endless, and all these benefits have inspired me to go to college. I want to make a career in web designing and development, and I'm currently looking at California College San Diego student reviews. The reviews indicate it might be a good place to begin one's career.
