What are the latest advances in nanotechnology in modern times?
The stunning adavancement news that i came across, first that japanese scientist are forseeing a meta level use of it to built a lift to moon that would run just on nano tubes that are 1000 times smaller than human blood cells but none the less 100 times stronger than steel and very flexible (and for amazement they are fibers).
beside that scientists have been able to built the tinyest robot that's less than even a millimeter (mainly in hope to use it in medical science).
The latter one is not quit very latest.
There are many almost to numerous to mention, in agriculture, medical sciences etc...I feel molecular manufacturing will bring unfamiliar risks and new classes of problems , that the world is not prepared for...and it may be just another way to destroy life as we know it....just my thoughts...
