Do you believe if I say there is one more planet in this universe which is having life ? Why?

I believe there are likely many places that have life.  It is very egocentric of humans to believe in a universe this vast that we are the only intelligent life.  I absolutely believe in the probability of life on other planets.  I believe the reason we haven't made contact is that we are not advanced enough - well that and the sheer impossible distances between ourselves and them.

    Two reasons:

First, with the innumerable galaxies and the innumerable stars and planets there are, what are the odds that another one like earth exists? There is one in this galaxy, why wouldn't be another one in the next galaxy?

If we believe what scientists believe that everything around us is just a result of a spontaneous series of events starting from the Big bang, the likelihood of another planet is high since everything came from the same "thing." Even if the probability of a system forming a planet capable of sustaining life is very, very small, the vast number of planets makes such formation probable.

Second, religiously speaking. God made everything around us. He made a rather huge universe and we are not in the middle of it, we are not even in the middle of our galaxy. Why would he make a huge universe if he is just going to populate this planet?

There are also scriptures that imply existence of other planets with life.
    example:
2 cor4:4; the use of "this" in the sentence implies there are others.

It is also a belief by the LDS church that there are other "earths" that this is not the only one God created.

I'd have to withhold belief for now.

Not that I don't think it's possible, but we simply don't know what the odds are of life forming. It could be that, on a planet with the right conditions, the probability of life forming is 100%. Or, it could be that even on a planet with the right conditions, the probability of life forming is 1 in however many such planets there are. Regardless of what the correct probability is, we'd be included in the sample, so our own existence tells us nothing about whether there is other life out there.

I wouldn't say someone is crazy for believing that there could be other life out there, but for me there isn't enough evidence to say one way or the other.

Yes because who are we to say that there isn't?  There are so many planets and galaxies out there, so who knows...

I will give you an yes answer if you will define what level of life you are talking about, microorganism or intelligent human type life or something in between. Also, I am assuming you are talking about our solar system. If you are going beyond that, I would say that the probability of life as we know it or very similar to what we know, is very high. However, we cannot prove it at this point.
