Is there life on other planets? What do you think?

Scientific descoveries suggest that some planets are too hot or too cold for life and that others have no water and so on.  But surely humans and animals canNOT be the only living creatures in the whole of the solar system...some even claim to have had encounters with aliens and UFOs.  So what do you think - is there life on other planets?

Of course there is. Sure its not scientific, but.. I mean if there are however many galaxies with billions of stars in each, and NONE of those stars has a solar system with planets like ours... really? There's got to be life out there.

Like they say in Contact, "It would be an awful waste of space".

I think there almost has to be, but we don't have the technology to contact them. I think of how vast our galaxy is, and believe that there must be more out there.

Yes! No chance for living being in the other planets of our solar system than our earth. There may be some planets in this Great Universe with living beings. But, one thing is clear that we can not easily reach there with the help our technology. Because, any nearest  planet containing living beings may be at about 300 to 500 light years from our earth. I am not sure about distance. So, it will take more than many lacs years to reach there even if we travel in the speed of rocket.

The chances for living beings is depending upon the distance between the planet and its sun and also availability of air, food water and other basic needs of life including favorable temperature.

Sure there is ! And scientist know this and try to make us aware as much as possible without going against the will of the Government
There is a Planet called Niburu " The red planet"
I would tell you to do some research on the word "Niburu"
I do not know your beliefs as far as God or the Universe but scientist are not keeping things from us we just don't want to know
But if the scientist are saying that  the bible and science is lining up
to date and as far back as the ancient days from Atlantis to the Myans then we better began to read the fine print.
I will tell you that to my understanding that Alien meaning
different something strange or forgien to us.
there are such things as fallen angles that date back in the King James Version Bible "the holy bible"
study this word "Nephalim" google or youtube it
a lot of peole have experiences but are afraid to speak of it .

yes indeed the planet earth and the whole universe is made by god but i thin k earth must be special for the god and therfore it is different but ibdont mean that there is noother  planet in the universe that inhabitats life, but may it is possible that because the distance we are not finding them, as the races and different forms have evolved and collasped in the recent past may be it is possibe, that that they have existed in different space and times or are living in different dimensions such as fourth or fifth dimension so they are contiously watch us because of ther advancement in the technology, and come here from time to time, so  they are living on the earth in the hollow earth peacefully and watching us

Life on other planets has not been proven to exist as yet. That does not mean that we cannot hope that there might be. The possibilities are endless given the infinity of the universe.

There are so many planets out there we have no idea about, there is so little we know about universe...it would be so 'low' of us to think that we are the only ones...' we are just little specks of dust floating for a milisecond in space and time' and there are many, many other specks of life up there...we are just too 'small' to reach them.
If we just stop for a moment sometimes and realize just how 'little, lost and unimportant' we are in universe, maybe, just maybe then we would stop destroying planet satisfying our own selfish needs and start to work together with outher living thinds and enjoying our little moment in a big circle of life...

I am a Muslim ... so I have no Doubts, about the Existence of extra-terrestrial Life ...
Because, in Holy Quran, Allah, The Almighty Creator, of the Existent Totality, Says,

" We have Scattered a scattering of  'Daabaat" ... Meaning, four legged, load bearing type of Animals ... throughout the Universe."

But, you should also remember, The Lord Saying,

"We have Created, the Human, in the Best of Symmetries ... Created him, the 'Ashraf ul Makhlooqaat' " Meaning, the Human, is, the Epitome of Creation.

Therefore, while there undoubtedly is Animal life, inhabiting countless Planets in the Physical Universe ... There is none, that  is higher in intelligence or superior in Form to the Human.

I am quite sure it's possible to have life on other planets. I doubt that it's like star trek with humanoid lifeforms as aliens, but I'm quite sure there has to be at least a basic virus or bacteria-like creature somewhere out there. By the way I found a website that give you prizes for your opinions here is the topic about this:

+Yes, is the answer I submit. The cosmos is much like (or likened to) DNA structure. And as such whenever there are certain planetary alignments ALL planets within its particular galaxy follow suit as to theyre motions ( or movements ) thus creating a symmetry the likes of which are VERY similar to our OWN dna in which say for instance......a solar flare of specific size erupts, then the first planet in that solar system wobbles; slightly and all planets follow suit because they are all within this certain solar system.

Now this is only speculation and theory yet based on sound theories and doctrines, but if in fact all planets react to theyre nieghbors then yes there must be other civilised planets. If not in our solar system perhaps others???

To re-word this..... If one solitary planet within a certain solar system has life,s origins upon it then there MUST be others with similar life forms! Thank-You. Thomas O Loscar Sr.

Here's what i think ,Each planet having there different sizes and gravitational properties would have life on them at one time or another.
If you take the effect of gravitation on the shape of space and the flow of time by Einstein
The Earth is in its own space and time.
Mars is its own space and time.
and so on for each planet.
In earths time and space life lives here. In other planets space in time life can could and would live there
Each planet being a shell belonging to the same time fluxed solar system
So the question is when in the time line of this solar system which planets had life on them .
Also take into fact the growth of the Sun the band of radiation perfect for the conditions of life it admits (which the earth is in now) ie Venus could of had the perfect distance from the sun to harbor life at one time. The Sun is about 4,500,000,000 years old what changes in time and space and life has it witness.

This question has sparked many a debate and in my honest opinion I would say yes there is life on other planets. But is it intelligent life and would we as mere carbon based beings  acknowledge life based on other substances?I hope to god there is intelligent life out there and that they are more intelligent then humankind and stay away so as not to taint their lifestyles and existence .That or maybe they should show up and teach humankind how to not waste what we have and to respect and love others and our planet.

Yes.  I believe that life exists on other planets.  It may or may not be like human life...but, it does exist.
