What changes have you noticed in how History is taught in American grade school?
Well according to my mom, history was not interactive for her. Now teachers are learning new ways to keep students interested with movies, plays, fake wars, funny stories, and "what would you do" (making the kids try to visualize what was happening).
The most important thing though that I am learning is to make the kids believe that what you are telling them is real and not a story.
I want to be a history teacher so I am trying to learn new ways for students to learn. I want to know how they will remember more. This happens when they are interested.
