Homeschooled? What outside activities do you do to stay social?
I am wondering what are some of the social activities you enjoy as a homeschooled child or parent of a homeschool child? What activities do you do to stay social?
Most of my activities as a child were connected to our local church. I was homeschooled when in school, and my church had a program for homeschoolers, offering extra curricular classes such as sewing, computer and typing classes, Spanish, PE, Drama, etc. It was about every/every other week. It gave us a chance to be around kids our age and learn and have some fun.
Our church also had monthly activities for all age groups. I played on a volleyball team and we had a tournament every year. We also had family softball and such things............quite a long list of things for me!

I often wonder if there are other formerly-homeschooled adults out there. Homeschooling was relatively unheard of when I was in school, but the numbers today are huge.I wrote a very short hub about being hoemschooled. Curious if there's anyone else on here who was, too?
