If there was an Armageddon scenario in 2012, what do you think it would be? How would you survive?
A Meteor? A solar flare? A collapse of government? Which of the traditional scenarios do you think is most feasible? What methods would you use to protect yourself and your family?
I think we may be experiencing Armageddon now with our current government and the foreign structure that has been instituted within. If Armageddon truly is nigh, I will survive by being one of every two who is lifted up to the heavens. I will no longer have to experience the pain and strife currently present on earth. God will either fix what's going on down here, or he'll bring all His people to His House and leave the demons to dwell with no one left to impose upon.
I suspect the scenario in which you describe will be a little more mundane as it will involve rising food and water prices due to rising sea levels and crop shortages. There will be some sizable earthquakes and flooding of coastal areas as well as extreme weather events and transportation will become problematic leading to food shortages.
Infrastructures will breakdown and Marshall Law maybe instituted, diseases may become rampant however third-world countries will suffer the worst of it as no relief will be available.
Starvation will become the leading killer, next to disease from unsanitary living conditions, anarchy may be common place.
The biggest decision facing mankind will be to decide ones personal orientation, whether to be part of the problem or part of the solution. To be in Service to others or in Service to Self.
The only possession every human has to give to another human that is uniquely theirs' is their life!
...Now that was a good, realistic answer without all the hoopla and ballyhoo!
You just like it cuz I use the word Mundane in it!
The reasons why I vote your answers up is MY business... LOL!
It maybe your business however the superior-tude of the answer is transparent as is my logic and all around supremeness . . . I feel your adulation all the way over here and quite frankly can't blame you . . . afterall!

Would humans really be savage and brutal in a post-apocalypse scenario? In most post-apocalyptic scenarios you see, (Mad Max, Fallout, The Road, etc.) people band together in violent groups that live only to kill and raid. Do you think this is realistic or do you think people are more inherently...

How are you preparing for the potential craziness of Dec 21, 2012?Do you think the world will end? or worse, a natural disaster, such as storms or solar flares, that turns mankind against one another to survive. Have you done anything to prepare for such an event?
by Jefferypalama 14 years ago
It won't. But if it does, please e-mail me in case I missed it. If it does happen, it will be a solar flash, which is the sun getting way too close to earth, then heating up too hot, and then traveling away

What five items would you need to survive a doomsday scenario, where technology and society fails?

Is there choice in evolution? Instinct for example, how does instinct change without choice? If an animals food source runs out, how does it choose a new food source it has never eaten before? If said the new food source was only determined by the environment, why do some animals choose new eating...

What if anything did you think would happen when the year 2012 came. The Mayans predicted a time of death and rebirth in the year 2012. Others believed that it marked a time of great devastation.... The year 2000 did not bring about any of the things that people thought would happen; Jesus did not...
