    If Aliens exist why would they want to be our friend?

    why would they want to be our friends when they can take us over without us even knowing? why do we have a kumbaya vision of extra terrestrials?

    I would think they would feel compelled to study us, just as we would with them. 

    What happens after that..... Well, we better be on our best behavior in such a scenario!
