What is the nature of reality?

What is the Universe? What relationship exists between personal experience and what is actually 'out there'?

The universe and everything around us was created by God the Father. That is the reality. Of course you will not find that in a text book. But, you will find it in the best seller of all time, the Bible.

I did not ask who made the universe - that is irrelevant and at present unknowable (beyond reasonable doubt). What I asked, was about whether our perceived reality matches up with what is really external to us? Is everything as it appears?

There is everything and we are part of everything.

Succinct and to the point. Nice. There is no distinction between us and the unity of 'Being-as-a-whole', yes? Separateness is an illusion. I agree whole-heartedly smile

Everything is an infinity of things and we are something (even "nothing" is something), therefore we are part of everything.
