What particular birth order personalities do YOU find it extremely difficult and/or taxing to
deal with? Oldest? Middle? Youngest? Only? There are some birth orders personalities we gravitate towards and can easily interface with while there are some birth order personalities who can get on one's last nerves, are extremely trying, and can make you lose your religion. As for myself, I tend to interface well with other onlies and oldest children. They are more my speed so to speak. I also interface well with middle children, they are so agreeable and democratic. The ones I simply cannot get along with are the youngest. They want ALL of the attention.YOU are to be THEIR public.
Being an only child myself, I tend to deal better with the oldest or other onlies. My first child was a miniature adult (now she has one just like that too!) and my second child was all child - funny, silly, whimsical...and that was harder for me to deal with than the mini adult.
Both are delightful adults now.
A side note: I was volunteering at our church for Vacation Bible School one summer, years ago, and jokingly said something along the lines of not being used to being around so many kids because I was an only child. This old biddie looked at me and said, "It shows." I always wondered what I was giving off that made her say that.
I, too, tend to deal best with those who are either the oldest or other lovely onlies. Youngest children I find to be totally insufferable brats.Yes, brats. They are attention grabbing and want to ALWAYS have their own ways and they are SELFISH!

By the time I was 10 or 11, I had the house and my parents basically to myself. I see some of me in the youngest...
