Do you take Ancient Aliens for serious show?

I am just watching an Ancient Aliens show about the dinosaurus. What do you think about the show, are they serious or just having good fun?

No, I do not take ancient aliens nor any shows like it seriously. I am a firm believer in science, evidence and critical thinking.

Their problem is actually lack of critical thinking. Looks like open minded, but actually very hardened and stubborn. Sometimes is obvious normal explanation of some phenomenon but they persist on alien origin.

I think they put forward some intriguing ideas, and I don't think they're looking at it as just fun.  There are people out there who take Ufology very seriously, and the ancient alien theories are significant to understanding why ETs might be here on our planet.  And it really is science-based, in a way.  The Drake Equation tells us it is extremely likely that life exists on other planets, and some of it is likely far more advanced than we are.  Why couldn't they be or have been here?

That said, of course they over-dramatize everything.  I think other paranormal shows do too, and a lot of it is because of the producers.  The real work done by these kinds of researchers would probably be boring to most people, so they have to spice it up.

Science shouldn't be popular, it should only stand on a true side. I agree with you about intrigue ideas, but let's stay on the ground. Use methods, experience and knowledge. You can't miss the truth.

Because of this show I am planning to visit Peru and Boliva to see the sites that are located there.  I am interested to know how ancient peoples were so mathematically advanced.
