What do you miss the most about high school?
I miss football. I also miss being challenged all the time with new assignments. What about you?
I miss the fact that there was no Facebook or Twitter, and that life was more simple then
I miss the cute blonde girl who sat in front of me in Algebra class and wore mini skirts and heels every day. (SIGH)
Pffft, I wish. She was WAY out of my league. I settled for admiring her from a distance. Haha
Haha that's not creepy there was a girl like that in my school. After talking to her a few years later, I found out she thought I was cute and wished I would have asked her out. Bummer that I let that slip by. She didn't show much interest then.
Lol both of those answers are pretty good. I'm going to answer again and say I miss being able to get away with murder. It was so easy to do things and not get into trouble back then.
Having nothing to do at noon and after. Being homeschooled, the school work was done quick.
That would have been great. I feel like school was sometimes a giant waste of time.
Sometimes I would sneak into the near school for lunch to see a few friends. That's when I found out they didn't wear hats
Haha that's great. I went to a really small school so we got away with doing a lot of stuff. I graduated with 55 other students.
Yes I did. there was about 250 of them at our school.
Nothing really. It was a good experience but when it was over, I was ready to move on.
I miss seeing my best friend all the time. She lives in a different State, nowadays, so we only see each other every several years. Internet and Facebook keep us talking on a regular basis, though, and it's fun to be able to see what's going on in each others lives.
I definitely miss being with friends. I miss just need to worry about an exam or a guy or where are we gonna have lunch that day.
I did not like high school. It was a large school, more than 500 in my graduating class. I was an average student so I did not make it into any of the clubs. I have no athletic ability, so no sports teams. People made fun of my speech impediment and my home life was less than ideal.
I also worked 20 hours a week at night at the corner drug store.
I had two friends. One is now dead and I have lost contact with the other. So to be very honest, there is nothing I miss about high school. I have gone to some reunions but will not attend any more. The same cliques still exist and while I had a successful career, I am still remembered as the kid who talked funny. I do not mean to be bitter, but I do not miss anything about high school. There is much I miss about college, but high school was just a necessary stop on the way to a career.
I miss My friends. We used to play sports. My teachers were good too. A lot of good memories. And bad memories too, but we do not talk about bad things.
The moment I didn't have to go back. I wish I could relive that over and over. If I could go back with my current mindset I could have done a lot differently. Like recognize that the entire thing is to condition a person to the political theater that is life in this culture.
I would have done more things like poking pencil holes into the screen windows in the back while the teacher was preoccupied, gradually making the holes big enough(no hurry) to push all of the antiquated books out onto the grass.
Wait a minute. Are these the people I should be talking to?
I miss hanging out with close friends. Also, life was simpler than. If I were to go back, I would probably apply myself in school more. Oh well.

Do you believe high school is really the best time of our lives? Why or why not?I hear people describe high school as the best time of their lives and I never really understood it. If that is the best it is going to get, what is the point of life after high school? I would love your thoughts.
