    Is there any information concerning Adolf Hitler not written by the allies?

    The majority of the information on Adolf Hitler is presented from the victors view. However, I am looking for what led him to do what he did and was there any good commercially to come from his reign.

    History is generally written by the victor. There are though, tons of records of the regime, including Hitler order, I'd assume, in archives, ad the Nazis were impeccable record keepers. In fact, much of those records were used in the war crimes trials after the war. What led him is the million dollar question; he was surely a personality disordered person, likely a narcissist. He did, for a time, bring prosperity to Germany, but his biggest commercial success is probably the thousands of books taking up your very questions.

    Most information on Hitler is written by impartial historians, not the Allies. I don't know of many works on Hitler written from the 'victor's view'; historians may share views of the Allies, they may not. Historians are often understandably more critical of the Nazis than they are of the Allies, but that doesn't mean most historians don't criticise the allies too. Ian Kershaw's biography of Hitler is a valuable source of information on his life, and there are thousands more historical works you can explore for a variety of viewpoints.
