Is it a religion when one has power over life and death of others?
Are such powers of life and death over others truly God's will?
The God, the Almighty One, the Holy One, the Perfect One, the Supreme One, He alone is the One and Only One, He is the Giver and Taker of life. All events are His will and His plan. Everything in the heavens and everything on the earth belongs to Him. The religions of this world have nothing to do with life or death.
That sounds more like a "God complex" or ego trip to me. Religion is a set of beliefs about God adhered to by its followers. Lording power over others and choosing whether they live or die is not a religion.
