What are at least 15 ways that the small family and the culture of the small family has
irrevocably improved and advanced socioeconomic, sociocultural, and societal standards?
Small families means affluence. In society where small families predominance, there's a higher level of socioeconomic affluence. In such societies, there is no longer a preoccupation with living from day to day. Living standards in such societies are higher. There are also more educational opportunities & social freedoms, esp. for women. In societies where large families are predominant, the poverty rate is higher. There are fewer educational & social opportunities, esp. for women.
I would like to see the sources of the claims you have made. Also, I do not know what you consider a small family. My wife and I have one child, he was adopted. We could not have children.
My wife's parents had six children and among them are a nurse, a teacher, a retired regional sales exec for a major company, a Vietnam vet who reached the rank of Major and has been involved in updating housing in eastern Berlin and my wife, a retired teacher.
Every country has pockets of poverty and pockets of affluence. I am not convinced that the size of the family is the overriding factor.
In countries where there is a high poverty level, there is a large percentage of large families. As income levels and opportunities increase, families become smaller. A small family is defined as 1-2 children per household.
In this country the opportunity for growth, development and wealth came first and then the size of the families started to decrease, as both parents worked outside the home and grandparents were live-in baby sitters. You cannot dictate family size.
