What makes some people exhibit envy and contentiousness towards others who have more advantages,
oftentimes wanting others to be in the same circumstances as they are?
That happens when people are distracted from their own purpose. Purpose-driven people are so focused on performing their assignments, they do not have time for comparisons, competitions or contentions.
They know these two truths:
(1) What individuals have belong to them; everyone has what is needed for personal fulfillment.
(2) Jealousy and envy wastes time and energy, which can be spent on the pursuit of purpose.
