Should we preserve old, historic buildings or destroy them and
replace them with modern buildings?
It depends on the specific building and its significant purpose and history. If there is a function and important purpose to that building that can carry on into today's modern world than the building should stay. If it has no purpose or usefulness, it either needs to get one (if its important enough) or maybe needs to be destroyed. If its important building in history maybe it can be turned into a museum or art/cultural center. Its just has to have a purpose and typically should be able to make capital/money off of it. Also the community should stand up and take up for this specific building. It should be important, to its people too.
I love historical buildings, but many times they are not worth repairing. They may be dangerous, full of mold, asbestos, and lead paint.

Why doesn't America turn the lights off at night?Skyscrapers in downtown cities keep lights on inside at night, unnecessarily. Isn't this such a waste of resources?
