How to remove bad thinking? Or How to control bad thoughts?

I saw many people they thoughts so many about their health and other things while the things are going according to them. Is it an illness or any madness. Can someone tell how to remove it or how some one can control these bad thoughts?

The goal is not to (remove) bad thoughts but instead (replace) them with positive thoughts. We get to (choose) what we tell ourselves.
Nevertheless it takes constant effort to "mind the store" of our mind because it tends to jump around. As soon as you catch yourself saying some negative self-talk you have to replace it with positive self-talk until it becomes a habit.
Naturally it helps to avoid negative or toxic people and situations as well. A lot of people go to bed watching the news and the first thing upon waking they either watch the news again or read a newspaper. The media's motto is "If it bleeds it leads".  In other words their focus is on presenting the worst things going on in the world. It's difficult to feel positive when you start and end your day with negative thoughts.
It helps to feed the mind with daily affirmations, visualizations, reading inspirational positive materials and associating with people seeking to achieve the same mindset.  You can check out to find groups that meet for various things such as meditation, yoga, or whatever in order to associate with likeminded people. Best wishes!

Hey dashing wouldn't it be better to replace the negative thoughts with no thoughts?, so as soon as a person catches themselves lost in thought they do some mindful meditating..true what you say about the news, & i stopped watching it a year ago

There are many ways. One way is to constantly repeat a mantra. The other thoughts will disappear and relaxation will happen automatically. Another method is to play some good music and create space between the thoughts or watch a good movie. Meditation also works effectively by letting the mind become empty. Let go of every thought as it arises or just witness it without emotion or judging. Focus on God. "Thou will keep thee in perfect peace who's mind is stayed on thee". It only takes a little discipline. Certain thoughts have to be ignored in order to remain happy. Don't be too serious. Learn to laugh more at the world and your experiences. Laughter destroys distubances instantly. Finally one of the best ways is silence. Keep quiet. Be still. Don't do anything. When you leave the pond alone, it stands still by itself. All disturbance is caused by thoughts. If there are no thoughts, there are no disturbances. Be detached from the world's thoughts and other's behavior and attitudes. Guard your mind. Each person creates their own world with thoughts. Peace is now, happiness is now, but it is inside not outside. Renounce every thought that does not bring happiness. Love yourself and everything else goes away automatically.

Our mind is supposed to be neutral, & only there for ideas/problem solutions etc..Our mind isn't us, & when our mind says something about ourself or others it isn't us that's really saying it..It's funny really because if i was my mind, then who is my mind talking to?lol..The key to removing those unwanted negative thoughts, is to stop using our mind when we're not supposed to be using it..Also another key element is to start eliminating some of the problems etc that we do have, because if we've nothing negative to worry about what can we possibly worry about?..So there's a lot of work involved with this, but it is an amazing experience as you start to find out who you really are..You need a lot of practice with the following: emotions/feelings control & mindful meditating, & all can be found on utube, & there by Eckhart Tolle, & whatever you do do not underestimate his info..If you think you get what he's saying after just watching it a few times you will be wrong, so you have to watch his stuff then practice his stuff..Then go back & keep doing it until you do get what he's saying, & believe me you will know when you start to "really" get it..Your mind will eventually shift, & your ego mind (negative thoughts) will almost vanish..I personally wouldn't use positive thinking to help you, as that's still giving your mind "food for thought" so to speak..You can practice mindful meditating right now just for a laugh, & to do that just look at everything around you..Preferably in silence & alone, just look at one object to another & keep your eyes moving..You will be naming objects in your mind as you go, but eventually after practice you will just be looking not thinking..Then you can look at everything at the same time the ceiling/floor/objects etc, then your'l be able to hold that & unable to be thinking..I say i wouldn't use positive thinking for the reasons stated, but i would say positive planning is essential..The difference being is that positive planning is stuff we've thought about, & then wrote down as a plan, & it's not something that's rattling around in our heads constantly..Believe it or not you already know how to do this, & every time your engrossed in doing something & an hour goes by before you know it, it's because you was mindfully doing something without thinking.

To dispel the intensity of troubling thoughts you have to shine the light of your awareness right on it.  Worrisome, fearful, or anxious, thoughts disable us, but by examining them, we learn what they are made of, which can empower us.

I wrote a hub about examining our health, and the idea of health we collectively hold - maybe it'll help shed some light wink … nce-Health

    Be well.
