   Do YOU believe that some Liberals have gone to the left, some might say to the extreme left?
   
   Liberals today aren't what they used to be.  Liberals in the past believed in the advancement of humankind but they were reasonable. They were for reforms but loved America. But Liberals today want to put America under the bus. They advocate entitlement programs although America can ill afford such programs. They  believe that America should open its doors to all immigrants regardless of their skill levels.  They furthermore advociate more equal income distribution, taking from the rich to give to the poor.  Liberals today are more socialist or communist than they are liberal.

   I think your comments included with the question offer a perfect answer.  You are right on the money when you say 'liberals today are more socialist or communist than they are liberal'.  The thing that troubles me more than the socialist cesspool America is becoming is the fact that more people are not speaking out against this obvious transition in American government.  I have lost almost all faith in the American government and my fellow citizens.
   The Constitution that this country was founded on was intended to protect the American way of life.  I feel that our government should go out of it's way to maintain this way of life.  The American government, however, tends to go out of it's way to help out those that disagree with the US Constitution.  America's motto should be 'love it or leave it', but instead it seems to be 'if your group doesn't love it we will bend over backwards to change it for you'.
   Is America destined to be a socialist nation?

   Could it be that other countries have observed and  emulated our government taking the best of what we had to offer.  With all of the outsourcing to other countries, I feel we are finding some of the best from other countries to emulate and give those companies incentives which turns the table more socialist.
