Dufference between rational number or irrational number????
A rational number has a finite number of digits. This includes integers (whole numbers), fractions, and decimal numbers which terminate at some point. Irrational numbers have infinite digits, which means they never terminate. These are numbers like pi, e, and sqrt(2).

how is pi an irrational number when it can be expressed as 22/7.....22/7 is a rational number since it can be written in the form p/q.....any thought processes are welcome......
