Curiosity is prevalent in young children and they are constantly asking questions , thus their minds are like a sponge, absorbing even though they may not understand. However as we grow to Adulthood, sometimes we start to just accept whatever without question, life is taken for granted. We become our own worst enemy. Curiosity keeps the mind sharp,,eating healthy and exercise  stimulates better circulation ( oxygen) which the mind and body need, thus equals a positive attitude and an awareness of your surroundings.
It's a fact.. how we perceive ourselves...." age is a state of mind "....
    just my opinion...

    Great question!

Many people stop asking questions as they get older because they haven't found satisfying answers as of yet, or they don't they don't think anyone has answers, or that any exist.

It also takes humility to honestly ask and seek answers.
Children have no problem asking questions and lots of them!

If we continue to ask questions we keep our brain working and will probably find the answers if we are honestly seeking. Keeping us hopeful, positive and youthful in mind.

Once we stop and accept everything we hear or become apathetic we just start to decay, so to speak.
