    Another Training Test on Titles

Which is the best title for a hub about General Thomas Gage, British military commander of the American colonies, and his actions plus subsequent surrender, retreat, and evacuation of British troops during the Siege of Boston when General George Washington had Boston surrounded with his army and Patriot troops? Image is an engraving depicting the British evacuation of Boston, March 17, 1776, at the end of the Siege of Boston.

Good thought, Tim. But, does that really tell the reader what the hub is about and who Gage is? Thank you for contributing your thoughts. Tea? love some!

Probably not as a 'Hub' title. I was thinking more in regard to time specific or as the local newspaper heading for a story. Or, "Here ye, Here ye! Gage Mismeasures . . . Washington Gaged Patriotism Spot on! Read all about it with 4 o'clock tea :-)

Maybe something like "General Gage and his surrender, retreat, and evacuation of British Trips during Washington's Siege of Boston" I'm not if it would okay to call it "Washington's Siege of Boston" though...

A rather long title, but explains the article. Thanks for participating.

I'm not a history buff, but I read your question over and over and I thought,
"How Washington's Troops Defeat Gage's Troops In The Battle of Boston"?

That is a precise title, Rachel. It explains what the article is about. tTank you for participating.

    I have two options,one serious,one completely different.

    1.  The Siege of Boston 1776 - How British General Thomas Gage lost out to General George Washington.

    2. Brits 0 Patriots 1  - Gage in Sin Bin, Washington scores.

Awesome titles, Chef. #1 would be my choice. #2 calls for cheer leaders.  smile
