A great movie I saw was The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. It was a movie about a german kid's dad becoming a general in the holocaust, and their new home was less than a mile away from a Jewish concentration camp. He goes to the fence of the camp and meets a jewish boy. its all about that. Amazing...
