If the Mongols conquer all of Europe, would the dark ages end earlier?

Russia exit the dark ages centuries ahead of the rest of the west, due to the fact, they were ruled by the Mongols during 13th, 14th and 15th century. If the Mongols conqueror all of Europe, then would the dark and middle ages end earlier.

No. They killed so many people and razed so many cities in Asia that global CO2 levels dropped as forests grew where so many were killed that the land went wild.
And when you destroy both the city and its inhabitants, it takes generations to rebuild versus a city repopulated with immigrants from surrounding villages or towns.
