What makes the large family environment an extremely precarious environment for children in which
there is basically the law of jungle where children MUST learn to survive EXTREMELY EARLY i.e. at the childhood stage on their own? What it is about the large family environment that is equivalent to the law of the jungle where children who are able to navigate their harsh environment thrive while those who can't, simply fall through the cracks emotionally, mentally, psychologically, & even psychically? What is it about the large family environment that bespeaks of neglect, either benign or in its more maligned form?

The large family of 6 or more children is becoming outmoded. The large family usually have a diametrically different culture and milieu to that of the small family. Parental interaction is rare...
