Has America presently become a nation of whiners, complainers, victims, the entitled, & those who
who consistently want to be rescued? How has the endless creation of social programs created this NEW America?
yes. you are describing the robber baron class that has robbed us blind! oil subsidies, gentleman farmer subsidies, tax loopholes to where they pay barely any at all, high priced, low quality items made by slave labor in other countries because they left our country for cheap labor...then get filthy rich selling us expensive crap. whine and cry anytime its suggested they contribute more to the country and people who made them rich. blah!
The biggest whiners, complainers, and those who receive the Mercedes of entitlements are none other than our members of congress and the senate. They spend countless hours each week fundraising, aligning themselves with fat cats and lobbyists, have more holidays and vacation time than any other occupation, have access to the best physical fitness facility around (no one knows how much it costs), are the benefactors of the richest health care program that others wish they could have, all while demonizing the elderly, poor, unemployed, the education system and a host of others who are at their mercy.
Dennis Prager has a great video on how socialism turns people into self-centered jerks. When everything is presented as your right, your entitlement, you aren't grateful - you're petulant or violent demanding what you're told is your right.
