I have recieved this email from the White House, can Obama save America

    Dear Friend,

This was a week where we at the White House were reminded more than ever of why we came to work for this President.

On Wednesday, President Obama delivered his State of the Union address, laying out his priorities for jumpstarting job creation, fighting to restore economic security for American families and changing the way business is done in Washington.

But then on Friday something remarkable happened -- with much less fanfare.  The President visited House Republicans at their retreat and answered their questions directly for most of an hour.  It was an honest and unscripted discussion where the President took their questions and concerns seriously, acknowledged where they had valid points, and explained genuinely where he felt they were wrong.

In short, it was something that for many Americans has seemed all but inconceivable in American politics -- a real discussion with honest disagreements about the challenges we face.

You can watch the video at WhiteHouse.gov:

He's not doing so well in U.S. polls-- he might as well start looking into other countries.

Distraction and Misconceptions, that's all political leaders in America are worth. This is all they offer and the citizens buy into it.

They place blame on things they do on others, so they can get some poor fool to cast a vote, which almost, means nothing nowadays. You may have the perception that ONE VOTE matters? But, that's falls far short of the reality of the situation.

Only HALF of the Country are voters to begin with. Then only 3/4 of them, if your lucky, turns out to vote.

So, who is really electing officials?

The underlying problems of America are not being addressed and many decent people are getting trampled on by those who chose to dictate policy for how people are supposedly to live their life. Literally, stripping people of individual right to life and right of choice.

It's getting to a point where it is becoming detrimental to the stability of the most powerfully armored and armed nation. Not to mention, the effect/affects happening in America also hurts Global economies, when being abused by the greedy.

Obama doesn't have the power to save America. He doesn't have the ability to repel business' powerful influence. It isn't going to get overturned until the CITIZEN Unite to stop it, and at best it would be 70 - 30 split, for change.

Those who are reaping the huge benefits of business and manipulating their way thru loopholes and other misperceptions, will have to answer to the citizens eventually. It's only a matter of time, because just like evolution - society as a unit has to evolve to the next level. This means there must be a more cohesiveness between business to business and business to consumers. It must happen.

The costs of living in America nowadays isn't even respectible, unless your earning six figure incomes. You may feel comfortable earning high five figure incomes. But, if your earnings are under $50,000-60,000 a year, then you're part of the middle class that continues to handle the burden of work.

Well, I guess I can leave it there. lol lol big_smile

Thank you for the question. It was interesting. smile

    An addition?

If you're interesting in knowing or seeing some odd things going on- I suggest you check these Hubs.

It's based on America and it's society.

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Calling-All-US-Citizens
    http://hubpages.com/hub/Where-Is-Your-Life-Headed

They are all based on different aspects of society and problems/issues America's citizenry faces. Not self promotion, just too much information to post in forum.

As you could see, my first post was long, and it barely touched the surface of the problems in America.
