Read the following interesting article by Ravi, an incident that was stirred up by a female Blonde Jew, leading other Jews to their deaths during World War II. Here is the link to his article:

    Hi Ravi,
Your article clearly shows what happens when we become selfish and not think about others enough. The mission Stella had been in led to the death of her community Jews but she couldn't be happy at all for the rest of her life. Her husbands died and even her daughter abandoned her. What more, she was hated by everyone and the media hurt her, which finally led to her suicide. The reality of this story shows us that we should always love our community, valuing and helping them, not the contrary. Stella got her lesson alright. There is always judgement from the Almighty for your deeds. Thank you for sharing.

Her name was Stella Goldschlag.  She was known as a catcher.  A catcher was a Jew who caught other Jews to send them either to ghettos or to concentration/death camps.   I read articles about her.

What a tragic story. Stella was in a very difficult situation, but her decision to help the Nazis was horrible. It must have been hard for her to live with the knowledge that she contributed to so many deaths.

Stella's circumstances were tough, but she chose to make bad decisions by getting so many Jews seen to concentrations camps. While she did 10 years in jail, that does not make up for the horrible crimes she committed. She ended up sad and lonely, so suicide made sense to her I guess. This is a tragic tale. Thanks for sharing this true story, Ravi.

Thanks for posting Ravi's article, Rosina.

Ravi always writes the most interesting and informative articles.  I had never read anything about Stella, and what she did to survive the Holocaust.  Betraying so many of her own people was a burden that she could literally not live with in the long term.  It was a sad part of history for so many reasons.  Hers is merely one story out of so many stemming from that portion of history.  Others, unlike her, did much to hide and save the Jewish people from being killed.  Thanks for sharing this with us, Rosina.
