    Thanks for the well-researched article, Ravi. This is the first time I have heard about Urumi. I found it interesting and informative. India is full of treasures of knowledge and skills.
    It sounds quite difficult as well as frightening to use. Great to know that in the olden days, urumi was used by ladies. And even in today's world, there are ladies imparting training for this very difficult, deadly martial art.

    This is a wonderful account of the Urumi sword used in ancient India. It must be scary to use since it is so deadly. Yet, it has survived ages and is still practiced. Thank you for sharing this unique piece of Indian history, Ravi.
