The beautiful pictures of the Universe captured by the Hubble..takes us 13.7 Billions years into the past.
Kind of puts a damper on religions belief that the Universe was created less than 10,000 years ago.
The universe was not created in less than 10,000 years, just man's existence on Earth. The universe has always been and shall always be. The "days" as read in the Bible may refer to eons. Again, it's an interpretation issue and may even refer to God's "day" rather than ours. Man's existence here is of very short time and duration in the grand design and destiny of things. The fossils, human remains and evidences of other "super" ancient beings and environments may indeed be remnants of life from destroyed worlds from which Earth was organized or "created."
Someone bashing religion that doesn't believe evolution.
