The Obama Administration is going forward with a plan to shoot Barred Owls who have encroached on Spotted Owl habitat. Is this fair? Logging was greatly reduced because the Spotted Owl became an endangered species, now it seems it wasn't the logging that caused the decline in Spotted Owls as much as Barred Owls. Doesn't this go against nature?
Both contribute, and logging is certainly a huge part of it, not "nature". Logging forced these animals to compete for the same greatly diminished habitat.
I support efforts to prevent the extinction of species. But in the long run it will be for nothing unless habitat is recreated.
Now i have pictures of the VP running around shooting owls...

They have wrestled hard with their souls but come to the conclusion they must execute the barred owls who are killing off the spotted owls whose demise was once blamed on the logging industry resulting in its near...

How do we make sure this doesn't happen again you ask? Deregulate further and open more of the gulf to drilling. That could only makes sense to those in the oil companies back pockets.
