Pam Am TV Show by ABC

Updated on September 30, 2011

Pan Am

Pan Am

Pan Am premiere's on September 25, 2011 on ABC at 10 pm. It is about the age in which women entered the work force as Pan Am stewardess and broke every boundary they had ever known before. For those of us old enough to remember Pan Am we remember this luxurious jet set life. In many ways Pan Am was the first Ambassador to World Trade.

But more importantly Pan Am offered women away out of their traditional roles to live the luxurious and exciting life of the jet set crowd. Women were liberated. For those of us that fly today we can barely remember enjoy flying. Where it use to be a luxury of the upper class.

I am looking forward to this show. It will be nice to remember a time when it was fun to fly to foreign countries and not absolutely loath traveling. This show is last minute add on but should follow Terra Nova and Fringe but on ABC. I will update my hub in a few days to reflect the change in schedule.

      HI dallas93444,

You married a stewardess, you hit the jackpot in life. I had a friend in Rome whose Dad was a pilot for Pan Am and it was one big family. And what a luxurious time in air travel. I also had another friend here in the states that's Dad was also a pilot for Pan Am. They flew everywhere in the world for free.

I really loved the people of Pan Am as they were world travlers and you always enjoyed their service.

And I have heard the stories as well but not necessarily all for family television.

Thanks for reading, commenting and and taking the time to rate.

      All My Best,

Having been married to a former stewardess, I know what most have heard is true... They fly years together and each have ample opportunity to "over-night" with the other or a new "friend..."

Much to write a screen play about, or movie! Flag up!
