On Monday, September 26th at 8pm on FOX Terra Nova premieres. The plot is that in the not to distant future the planet will be over crowded and polluted. I an attempt to preserve the race of man a rip in the space, time fabric has been opened to allow small pilgrimages to travel back in time to the dinosaur age in which they claim it is paradise.
But as one would expect of any theatrical production a tragedy ensues as no paradise is actually paradise.
Steven Speilberg is a producer on this project so it will be loaded with great special effects but the real question is will the writers be able to provide a compelling human story line to match balance out the special effects and science fiction component of this series?
The trailer looks terrific.
Terra Nova Trailer
If the series is anything like the trailer it looks like it will be a big hit. But I will have to tune in on Monday September 26th at 8pm in order to tell if the human story line is as compelling as the action and special effect.
From the preview it is a Wellian tale of the Swiss Family Robinson in Jurassic Park.
