I Didn't Care For It!
"Quarantine"
I gave this movie 1 1/2 stars. I found the movie very cheesy and the acting was horrible. I will admit that it was a fast paced movie...but it wasn't fast enough to end! There were 2 heroes; a cop and a veterinarian. Of course it was the Vet that announced the disease to be rabies.
Although you can hear the camera man interact with the characters throughout the film, you don't get to see his face until the end. The thing that I found most ridiculous was that in order to make sure it was rabies, they had to take a "Brain Sample". Are you serious? If that's true then I'm not taking my pets to the vet anymore! What about a simple blood test?
I will admit that the film was gruesome and I liked that the dog's name was "Max". (That's the name of my parents' Cocker Spaniel.) However, there was just too much screaming and I began to get a headache. As far as the camera angle, I think they tried to rip- off "The Blair Witch Project" since I became dizzy from trying to focus my eyes. It was like being on a small ship in a big storm.
Humans turn into rabid animals?...What a waste of time and money! A movie this bad should at least have nudity in it to get people to watch it, but they didn't even give us that! (My wife laughed when I said that to her!) Everything said, I turned the movie off before it was even finished. Definitely 2 thumbs down!
