Ice Cube is an American rapper, record producer, actor, screenwriter, film producer, and director from Los Angeles, California. He is known world-wide for his appearances and starring roles in various films however, in this hub we will be focusing on his music career. Ice Cube began his career as a part of rap group, C.I.A. He later joined N.W.A alongside Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, MC Ren and DJ Yella. He assisted in writing lyrics for Eazy-E and Dre and wrote approximately half of the groups landmark album, Straight Outta Compton.

After leaving N.W.A, he released his debut album, AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted in 1990. Duing the same year, he released an EP called Kill At Will which became the first hip hop EP to ever go Platinum. Ice Cube released his second album, Death Certificate in 1991. He released his third and most successful album in 1993 titled, The Predator.

In 1996, Ice Cube formed Westside Connection with rappers, Mack 10 and WC. They released an album called Bow Down which was certified Platinum. After a seven year hiatus, they returned in 2003 with an album titled Terrorist Threats.
