Underrated metal bands?

   Underrated metal bands?
   
   This question could have tons of different answers, but I wanted to ask it because I recently started listening to Crowbar and found out that they're, well, kind of awesome. I'm a huge Phil Anselmo fan so I knew about Crowbar because two of the members of that band are in his band, Down, I'd just never listened to them.
   
   So who do you think is a fantastic yet totally underrated metal band?

      I've written two Hubs on them (shameless plug, shameless plug!)...with a bunch of YouTubes in each, if you'd like to sample Warrior Soul, Georgie. Or just go to Spotify and hit up their "Salutations from the Ghetto Nation" album.

   I have a long list of bands that I wish were bigger, but I have to say the one that gets the least amount of credit where they deserve it is Budgie.

   Nice to see a fan of Mr. Anselmo here, so here's a suggestion from the man himself - an Australian death metal band called Portal.
   
   Here's what Phil recently said about the guys: "There's an Australian band right now – and what's funny about you asking this is that I never thought I'd be back into death metal like this – but there's this band called Portal, and they are the single-handed greatest death metal band today!" he said.
